Ruth Zacot

Barton, MD

Ruth Ann Zacot, 78 of Barton passed away on May 20, 2022.

Born October 4, 1943, she was the daughter of the late George David Robertson, Sr. and Ruth Eleanor (Pysell) Robertson. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Louis Fazenbaker and Francis “Butch” Zacot; and her brothers, Junior, Jimmy and Charlie Robertson.

Ruth was a member of the Barton Presbyterian Church. She was a Past President of the Barton American Legion Auxiliary and also a member of the Pocahontas Black Hawk Tribe #131. She bowled on Wednesday mornings in the Early Bird Bowling League at the LaVale Bowler. Ruth also enjoyed planting flowers, as well as reading.

Ruth is survived by her children, Lori Fazenbaker, Tony Fazenbaker and wife Jenean, Tim Fazenbaker and wife Missy, Eric Zacot and Dane Zacot and wife Jessica; and her grandchildren, Joshua Fazenbaker and wife, Paige, Nick Fazenbaker and Jurnee Price. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews; her special kitty, Spot and her grand puppy, Louie.

In accordance with her wishes, Ruth will be cremated.

A memorial service will take place at the Barton Presbyterian Church on Saturday, May 28th at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Thomas Morgan officiating.

Ruth’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Egle Nursing and Rehabilitation for the excellent care they provided, as well as the nursing staff, doctors, and especially Dr. Awad, at UPMC Western Maryland for their kind, compassionate care.
