Pastor Ada Kittle

Pastor Ada M. Kittle (86) of Westernport, MD journeyed to her heavenly home on Friday, March 27, 2020.

Ada has been the Pastor of the Piedmont Church of God for the last 29 years.  Her mission since becoming a Christian at the age of 12 was to serve God and to share His love with others.

Born October 17, 1933 she was a daughter of the late Otmer H. "Pappy" and Beulah G. (Bennett) Payne.  She is also preceded in death by her husband Marvin H. Kittle, two sons Marvin H. Kittle, Jr. and Michael L. Kittle.  Three sisters Judy L. Gould, Aretta L. Tucker, and Shirley A. Crosby and three brothers James J., Robert O., and Roy "Buck" Payne.

Ada is survived by one son, Keith O. Kittle and wife Patty of Fishersville, VA; a granddaughter, Megan Sonnenburg of Boston, MA; two grandsons, Ian M. Kittle of Flemington, WV and Justin T. Kittle of Westernport, MD;  five great grandchildren, Jane and Emily Sonnenburg, Indiana Kittle, Amelia Kittle and Remington Kittle.  She is also survived by her sister, Delma W. Chalfont of Baltimore, MD and several nieces and nephews.

There will not be a public visitation or funeral service at this time. A memorial service honoring Pastor Kittle will take place at a later date.

Interment will be at the Simpson Cemetery, Simpson, WV.

Boal Funeral Home, Westernport along with the Bradley J Mayle Funeral Home, Flemington, WV assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
