Marvin Glenn Miller

Marvin Glenn Miller passed away on July 20, 2022 after a long battle with ALS.

Born July 22, 1947 in Westernport, he was the son of the late Marvin L. and Marion (Stowell) Miller. He was also preceded in death by sister, Brenda Joyce.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Wendy “DeDe”; three children, Terri Colmer, Tina Laudato and husband Mike, and Marvin Miller and fiancé Kelsey; and step daughter, Tonya Dye and husband Jimbo. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ryan and Ashleigh Colmer, Logan Dye and fiancé Brittany, MaKaylee Dye, Chloe Dye and fiancé Austin; and great grandchildren, Elijah, Raelynn, Rylin, Jase, Josie, Deja, Brynlee, Elaina, and Wylder. Glenn is survived by his siblings, Cookie Rounds and husband Wayne, Jeanette Miller, Ralph Miller and wife Nancy, and Gloria Miller; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their extended families.

Glenn was a 1965 graduate of Valley High School where he was the first quarterback of the first football team. He was a stand out baseball player, scouted by the Pittsburgh Pirates, but was already enlisted in the US Navy aboard the USS Independence CVA62. He was a correctional officer for the state of Maryland. After his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his beloved family, going on golf trips with his golf buddies and being a member of the Mill Creek Golf Club. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Per his wishes, Glenn’s family had a private viewing and he was cremated.
