Margaret Lee (Miller) Smith, 73 of Barton went Home in the loving arms of her Savior on July 15, 2020 at her residence with her loving family by her side.

Born October 15, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Clifford and Ruth Evelyn (Michael) Miller. She was also preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Sue Miller and her nephew, Justin Keller.

Margie battled with Multiple Sclerosis for 43 years. Her loving husband and family took excellent care of her all of those years.  Margie was a graduate of Bruce High School. She was a member of the Westernport First Assembly of God Church in Westernport. At one time, she was a Missionette leader at the church. Margie enjoyed bowling and ceramics, as well as baking.  She was once a CNA at Moran Manor, having worked there for eleven years. Margie loved spending time with her family, she cherished the moments spent with them.

Margie is survived by her loving husband, Harold Lee. “Bud” Smith, Sr. and her children, Harold “Buddy” Smith, Jr. and wife, Christy and Lori O’Haver and fiancé John Michaels. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Megan O’Haver and fiancé Aaron Robinette and Hunter O’Haver and wife, Danielle; and her great granddaughters, Preslee Aaryn Robinette and Blaire Elizabeth O’Haver. Margie is survived by her sisters, Gloria Walker and husband, Harry and Ruby Keller and husband, Jim.

Family and friends will be received at Boal Funeral Home, Westernport on Friday, July 17th from 5 to 8 p.m.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 18th at 1:00 p.m. at the Westernport First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Glen Johnson, Jr. officiating. There will be a visitation at 12:00 p.m. until the start of the service.

With respect to current health concerns and state regulations, face coverings must be worn and social distancing practiced.

Interment will be at Mt. View Cemetery, Moscow Mills.
