Margaret Paugh

Westernport, MD

Margaret Maxine Paugh of Westernport passed away on December 10, 2020.

Born on September 13, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Wayne and Gladys (Morton) Gift. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Paugh; a sister, Elizabeth Ann Gift and her brother, Robert “Bob” Gift.

Margaret is a graduate of Bruce High School. She was once a member of the Westernport Brethren Church and most recently a member of the Westernport United Methodist Church, where she was the bookkeeper. Margaret always enjoyed relaxing on her back porch and spending time cross stitching.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Nancy Hawkins of Bridgeport, WV; her grandsons, Aaron High and wife Amber of Portland, OR and Adam High and girlfriend Mary Harding of Portland, OR. She is also survived by her siblings, Richard Gift and wife, Shirley of Cumberland and Gary Gift and wife, Janice of Westernport.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, December 14th at Boal Funeral Home, Westernport from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, December 15th at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Sandy Cowan officiating.

Interment will be at Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser, WV.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Westernport United Methodist Church.
