Glenn Metz

Glenn Richard Metz, 77 of Barton passed away on April 25, 2020 at Moran Manor Nursing Center.

Born November 22, 1942 in Barton, he was the son of the late Charles and Cora Mae (Swick) Metz. He is also preceded in death by his brother, George Metz and his sister, Jenny Mae Trenum.

Glenn was a 1960 graduate of Valley High School. He was retired from the Local 616 Laborers Union. He was an avid turkey and coon hunter and was once the President of the Tri-State Coon Hunters Association.

Glenn is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ellen Lee (Grove) Metz; his children, Tara Shillingburg and husband, Rusty and their son, Hunter of Barton, Lisa Cronauer and fiancé, Mike of PA and John Pattison and Angel of LA. He is also survived by his siblings, Charles Metz and wife Jean of Barton and Mary Ellen Griffith of Barton. Glenn is survived by his brother-in-law, Stephen Grove of Piedmont, WV and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services for Glenn will be private.

Interment will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow Mills.
