Geraldine "Judy" Moorehead

Westernport, MD

Geraldine “Judy” Moorehead, 87 of Westernport passed away on January 17, 2021.

Born on April 25, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Dorothy (Clayton) Barr. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Dewey Moorehead; a great granddaughter, Ally Lease; siblings, Bobby Barr, Mildred Folk and Frances Mitter; and her beloved dog, Daisy.

Judy was a member of the Westernport Church of the Brethren. Judy enjoyed bowling, fishing and spending time on the river. She loved to cook, can vegetables from the garden and feed the birds. Judy loved to spend time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren who affectionately called her “Mammy”. She always kept her family laughing with her great sense of humor. Mammy will be missed by all who knew her.

Judy is survived by her children, Linda Cleveland, Dianne Hughes and fiancé Frank Moscariello and Dave Moorehead. She is also survived by her siblings, Jimmy Barr and Beverley Clem and husband, Gary; grandchildren, Jenny Lease and husband, Scott, Ryan Cleveland and wife, Abby, Andrea Cleveland and Will Hanlin, Brooks Hughes and Hosheanna Hicks; and great grandchildren, Avry Lease, Macie Cleveland and Emry Cleveland.

Due to current health regulations, a private service will be held.
