Donna Pearl Grogg, 71 of Westernport passed away on July 1, 2020 at UPMC Western Maryland.
Born March 12, 1949 in Keyser, WV, she was the daughter of the late Russell Foster and Pearl (Burns) DeVore. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Russell DeVore II, Pat Burns, Bobby Burns and Michael Burns. Her previous husband, Carl “Pete” Edward Bosley, Mother and Father-in-law, Burley and Beulah Grogg and numerous Brothers and Sisters-in-law.
Donna was a 1967 graduate of Bruce High School. She also attended beauty school and was a licensed beautician for many years. Donna was a homemaker for most of her life, spending many days with her loving family. Donna was a member of the Westernport Church of the Brethren for the past 71 years. She was the pianist/organist, assistant choir director and secretary. Donna will be forever remembered as a devoted loving wife, mother and friend.
Donna is survived by her husband of 40 years, Timothy Grogg. She is also survived by her children, Allen Bosley and wife, Stacey, and Autumn Sisk and husband, Brandon; her grandchildren, Joshua Bosley, Brandon Bosley, and Kenny Linn Sisk. Donna is also survived by a special Sister-in-law, Theresa Dixon, special friends, Larry and Dottie Shrout and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 7 at Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, from 4 PM to 7 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 8 at 1 PM with Rev Bill Shimer officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 12:00 p.m.
Interment will be at Philos Cemetery in Westernport, Maryland.
