Don Allen Quinn, 70 of Westernport passed away on January 10, 2020.

Born October 8, 1949, he was the son of the late James Arthur and Betty (Rizer) Quinn.

Don retired from Garrett County Department of Social Services with 30 years of service. He was a Past Grand Commander and member of Wamba Caravan # 89, Past Region 3 Secretery, Past Grand Knight of Piedmont Council K of C and a member of the Cumberland K of C #586. He was also a Past President and District Director of the Upper Potomac Jaycees and lifetime Jaycees Md Militia. Don was a former football coach at Bishop Walsh and Westmar High School.

Don is survived by his loving wife, Mary Lou Quinn; his children Don Scott Quinn and Jennifer Cameron and husband, Scott. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Tyler Quinn, Cayenne Cameron, River Cameron; his brother Van Quinn and wife, Mary Lee; his sister, Linda Schwanke; and numerous nieces and nephews. Don is survived by his special friends, Charles and Debra Bielanski and his former daughter-in-law, Maria Quinn.

Family and friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport on Sunday, January 12th from 6 to 9 p.m. At 8 p.m. there will be a Crescent Ceremony presented by the Wamba Caravan #89 followed by the Cumberland K of C #586 memorial service.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 13th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church-Divine Mercy Parish with Father Eric Gauchat as celebrant and Deacon Harold Bradley.

Interment will be at St. Peters Cemetery, Westernport.

Pallbearers will be Jayme Bradley, Josh Bradley, Ron Grove, Denny McCormick, Tom McIntyre, Kevin Quinn and Kris Quinn.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the St. Peter’s Bereavement committee, the Mineral County Special Olympics or the Hooley Plunge. Donations may be brought to the funeral home for disbursement.
