Charles Jefferson Clark, 89 of Westernport went to his heavenly home on December 11, 2020 to be with his Lord and Savior.

Born May 12, 1931 at Westernport, he was the son of the late Thomas S. and Sarah H. (Robertson) Clark. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 52 years that he absolutely adored, Roberta L. (Wilson) Clark. Charles was preceded in death by his 7 siblings, he was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Charles was a United States Army Veteran, where he was once stationed in Germany. He retired from Westvaco in 1995 having worked in machine coding. Charles was a Christian and he loved the Lord. He attended the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Piedmont, WV.

Charles enjoyed being outdoors and especially loved to go squirrel hunting. He was a hard worker and was always staying busy. Charles was a storyteller, he enjoyed sitting down with his girls and telling a funny story and always making them laugh. Family was very important to Charles, he was loved, and he will be greatly missed.

Charles is survived by his six daughters, Diana Wiland and husband, John of Midlothian, Regina Clark of Westernport, Zelda Marchinke and husband, Jim of Midland, Charlene Warnick and fiancé Todd of Surry, VA, Rhonda Beckner and husband Tom of Westernport, and Roxann Twigg of Purgitstville, WV. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Devina, Doreen, Destiny, Julia, Justin, Matthew, Austin, Zachary, Zeb, Joshua, Lucas, Caleb and Curtis; and his nine great grandchildren.

Due to current health concerns, services honoring Charles will be private.
