Amanda Lynn “Mandy” Hardman, 40, of Barton passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at her residence.

Born August 15, 1981 she is the daughter of Sam Hardman and Mary Lou (Davis) Cook and stepfather, John. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Doris Davis and paternal grandfather Robert Hardman.

Along with her parents and stepfather, she is also survived by her three beloved cats, Digger, Munk, and Moe; and her sister’s Sami Garlitz and husband Gregg and Lori Brashear and husband Billie. Mandy is survived by her nieces and nephews, Emily, Scott, Jacob, and Madison; paternal grandmother, Ruby Hardman; maternal grandfather Bill Davis; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Mandy spoiled her cats, they were her pride and joy, and she treated them as her babies. She was employed at Hunter Douglas for over twenty years where she had numerous friends that she loved like family. She enjoyed spending time with some of them going to the farmer's market on the weekends.

Her family was very important to her and she loved doing activities with the kids. She enjoyed spending time on the farm and made Sunday dinners with the family a priority.  She was a very talented crafter and was always working on a project. She enjoyed gifting the things she made to friends and family. She was an avid movie watcher and had all the new releases. She was well known for her large DVD collection. She loved holidays, especially Halloween. She regularly won prizes for her creative costumes.

Mandy was the most kind-hearted, giving person. She had a huge heart and was willing to help anyone in any way possible.

Due to the current circumstances regarding Covid, the family has decided not to hold a public visitation.

A Celebration of Mandy’s Life will be held at a later date.

Mandy is in the care of Boal Funeral Home.
