Willis Clay McIntrye, 94, of Fairview St, Luke, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013, at Egle Nursing and Rehab Center, Lonaconing.

Born April 19, 1918 in Luke, he was the son of the late Aubrey C. and Grace E. (Ack) McIntyre.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Margaret (Farris) McIntyre, and five brothers, Donald, Marshall, Charles, Robert and James McIntyre.  He was the last survivor of his immediate family.

Mr. McIntyre was a United States Army Veteran, having served during World War II.  He retired from Westvaco Corp, with 52 years of service, having worked in machine coating.  He was a member of Luke Local #676 UPIU, a member of Bloomington United Methodist Church, and a member of Victory Post #155 American Legion.

He leaves behind four sons, Richard McIntyre and wife Sherry of Westernport, Woody McIntyre and wife Barbara of Portsmouth, VA, Robert McIntyre and wife Becky of Cresaptown, Jack McIntyre and wife Bunny of Westernport, three daughters, Janice Gift and husband Gary of Westernport, Dorothy Leatherman and husband Norman of Keyser, WV, and Barbara Davis of Luke.  He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, Denyse Stanford, Lisa Stevenson, Rayma Davis, Kelli Smith, Monte Leatherman, Amy McCormick, Brian McIntyre, Deron McIntyre, Marla Buenviage, Kevin McIntyre, Crystal Ashberry, and Jenni Crawford, and twenty six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Tuesday, January 22nd from 1:00 to 5:00 PM.  A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, January 23rd at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Gary Rankin officiating.

Interment will be in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser, WV, with military honors accorded at graveside.
