William A. Clark, 87, of Barton, passed away January 13, 2014 after a long illness.
“Bill” Clark, son of the late Archie and Kathleen Clark, loving husband of the late Thema V. Clark, brother and sister-in-law James and Patricia Clark, Barton, and brother the late Francis Clark and his wife Betty, Baltimore.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Brenda K. and John Merson, of Middletown, MD, and two sons James K. Clark and William B. Clark, both of Dunedin, FL. He also leaves behind five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and three nieces and a nephew.
Mr. Clark was born in Detroit, MI and moved with the family and was raised in Barton. After high school, Mr. Clark went off to join the Army Air Corps, eventually becoming the U.S. Air Force, for a 20 year career. Upon retirement from the USAF, Mr. Clark worked his way up to Chief of Computer Operations at National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, where he would spend an additional 22 years.
Interment will be with full military honors at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
There will be no visitation or services. Arrangements were handled by Boal Funeral Home P.A., Westernport.
