William “Bill” O’Haver, Jr. went home to be with his Lord and Savior on November 24, 2023.
Born November 3, 1944, he was the son of the late William and Wanda (Helmick) O’Haver.
Bill was the Pastor at the Piedmont Pentecostal Holiness Church, Piedmont, WV. He was previously employed with the Maryland State Highway Administration.
Bill enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a story teller and was a wheeler and dealer at yard sales. Bill and his wife Ruby enjoyed traveling all over the United States.
Bill is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ruby O’Haver; his children, Heather Youngblood and husband Jeff, April Ann Sims and husband Jamie, Nina Mary Crites, and Olyn O’Haver and wife Rebecca. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Amanda Flanagan, Dennis Landis, Jessica Landis, Miranda Everett, Wes Knisley, Timothy Knisley, Autumn Knisley, Brandon O’Haver, April Weasenforth, Rebecca O’Haver, Paige O’Haver, Ryan Mongold, Zane O’Haver, Brooklyn Mullins, Jay Sims, Kelsey Klima, Tyler Sims, and Alyssa Goldman; his sister, Patricia Watson; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Piedmont Pentecostal Holiness Church on Wednesday, November 29th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A funeral service will take place following the visitation at 1:00 p.m.
