Walter Griffith Jr.

Walter R. Griffith Jr. 59 of Everett and formerly of Barton, passed away on April 16, 2018 at Donahoe Manor Nursing Home in Bedford.

Born November 26, 1958, he was the son of the late Walter R. Griffith Sr., Alice Caroline (Lancaster) McMillan, and his step-father, James E. McMillan.

Walter was an avid bowler, particularly with the Special Olympics. He was a sports fanatic, he especially loved NASCAR racing, the NFL, the NHL and the University of Maryland basketball. Walter worked with Friends Aware, where he once worked as a grounds keeper. He worked for Pharmacare for many years as one of their pharmacy technicians. Walter had a sweet spirit, loved the Lord and found joy in life wherever he went.

He is survived by his sister, Gayle Griffith of Everett.

Friends and family will be received at the Barton United Methodist Church on Friday, April 20th from 1 to 3 pm. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 3:00 pm.

A private interment will be in the Eckhart Cemetery.
