Tonya Sue Fazenbaker, 37, of High St, Barton, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore.

Born May 14, 1975 in Cumberland, she was the daughter of Nancy Leatherman of Barton and Bernard Alonzo Fazenbaker of Lonaconing.

Tonya was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harold Wilmer Leatherman, Adrian “Paulie” and William Fazenbaker, uncles, Monk, Frank, and Billy Fazenbaker, aunts, Sandra Sue Thomas, Bonnie Unger, and Jeannette Wilson.

She was a graduate of Westmar High School, Lonaconing, and a member of Welsh Memorial Baptist Church, Frostburg.  Tonya was also an avid “Redskin Fan”.

In addition to her parents, Nancy and Bernard, she leaves behind a son, Cameron Dixon at home, a brother, Bernard Michael Fazenbaker of Moorefield, WV, a grandmother, Martha DeVault and step grandfather, Roy DeVault of Carlos, three aunts, Barbara Kennedy of Hagerstown, Mary Catherine Grose of Frostburg, and Beulah “Pudge” Sagal of Frostburg, two uncles, Norman Leatherman of Keyser, WV, and Butch Leatherman of Barton.  She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews including two special cousins, Brenda Reese and Melissa Knapp, a special nephew, Michael Vanderhout, a special niece, Alissa Fazenbaker, a special friend, Marsha Mullan, and her two dogs, Billy Bob and Lilly Bug.

Friends and family will be received at Boal Memorial Chapel, Barton, on Monday from 2 to 6 PM.  A funeral service will follow the visitation at 6:00 PM on Monday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Boal Funeral Home in order to defray funeral expenses.
