Thomas Michael Warnick

On July 20, 2026, Thomas M. Warnick of Frostburg passed away at the age of 86.

Born May 2, 1940, he was the son of the late Clarence Cecil “Cappy” Warnick and Mary Frances (Broadwater) Warnick. He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Allan, Robert, Edward, Lewis, Vernon and Donald; a special nephew, Charlie Warnick; step-son, Robert Llewellyn; and his daughter’s mother, Dorothy Warnick.

Family was the center of Tom’s life, he was a devoted husband, dad, brother and proud Pawpaw. Tom dedicated many years of service to PPG and later worked as a maintenance technician with the Frostburg Housing Authority. Tom was a loyal Chicago Cubs fan and was always cheering them on. He enjoyed playing softball, trying his luck at scratch-off lottery tickets, and spending time around the card table with his brothers.

Tom is survived by his wife, Frances (Jacobs) Warnick; his daughters, Susan Pollock of Frostburg and Gail Shingler and husband John of Westernport; his brother, David Warnick of Barton; and step daughter, Lisa Llewellyn. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ashley Warnick (Trent), Johnny Shingler (Amanda), Cecley Grady (Frankie), Jeremy Shingler (Stephanie), Robbie Grady (Nikki), Taylor Pollock (Austin); step grandchildren, Justin Llewellyn and Baylee Ziler; his great grandchildren, Maddox, Gabe, Kaitlyn, Gracie, Gabby, Trynitie, Colten, Jaxson, Rosalynn, Bentley, Michalea and Paisley; his grand dog, Charko; and his numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Boal Memorial Chapel, Barton on Saturday, July 25th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the funeral service immediately following at 1:00 p.m. with Deacon Harold Bradley officiating.

Interment will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow Mills - Barton.
