Teresa “Terri” Saweikis

Teresa (Terri) Marie Saweikis went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 30th, 2025, at

UPMC Western Maryland in Cumberland.

Born in Silver Spring, MD, on January 21st, 1964, she was the daughter of the late Darla and William Saweikis.

Terri is survived by her daughter, Ashley Saweikis; and her son, Christopher Saweikis, and his wife, Brittany. Terri is also survived by two grandchildren, Carlton and Brent; her siblings, Dr. Anthony Saweikis and his wife, Dawn, Rev. Joseph Saweikis and his wife Charity; and many loved nieces and nephews.

Terri was an active member of Mountain City Church in Frostburg, MD. She served on the Guest Care Team and was a faithful prayer warrior for those in her faith family. Terri loved to read and was always in search of the perfect ink pen for her writings.

Family and friends will be received at Mountain City Church on Saturday, August 9th from 3 pm -5 pm with a service and dinner to follow beginning at 5 pm.
