Susan Dora Popp, of Knobley Road, Short Gap, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at her residence.
Born January 22, 1954 in Keyser, she was the daughter of the late Harry Francis and Evelyn (Johnston) Boore.
Susan was a 1972 graduate of Bruce High School, and completed her Licensed Practical Nurse studies at Washington County Vocational Center. She was a member of Westernport United Methodist Church.
She leaves behind her husband of 42 years, Greg Popp, two daughters, Khristina Waters and husband James of Keedysville, MD, and Kaci Tiller and husband Nathan of Aberdeen, MD, four grandchildren, Nick Waters, Dorian Tiller, Evelyn Tiller, and Jackson Tiller. She is also survived by two sisters, Ellen Sears of Spotsylvania, VA, and Jean Marsh and husband Jim of Westernport, MD.
Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, MD, on Friday from 6 to 9 PM. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 1:00 PM, with Deacon Jack Harrison officiating.
Interment will be in Philos Cemetery, Westernport, MD.
