Steven "Rambo" Thomas

Steven Franklin “Rambo” Thomas, 54 of Westernport passed away suddenly on December 17, 2022.

Born March 25, 1968 he was the son of Sharon (Dye) Thomas and the late George Thomas.

Rambo was an avid deer and mushroom hunter. He was a member of the George’s Creek Valley Lodge AF&AM #161. Rambo never met a stranger, he had many friends.

Along with his mother Sharon, Rambo is survived by his devoted wife of 15 years, Shannon Thomas. He is also survived by his children, Steven Thomas II (fiancée Cassie) and Natasha Thomas (significant other Chelsae). Rambo is survived by his siblings, Lori Skidmore (John), William Thomas (Sheri), Julie Moore (Donald), Amy Hawkins (Rob), Cheryl Broadwater (friend Richard Wilfong); his siblings by marriage, Roxann Martin (John), Greg Preston (Shelley), Randy Preston; the special loves of his life, Mchenry, Candy and Bella; numerous nieces and nephews; and many special friends.

Rambo was preceded in death by his grandmother, Angie Dye; step father, Blaine Wilhelm; step brother, Gary Wilhelm; mother-in-law, Sharon Moore; and grandmother-in-law, Ruth Kathleen DeShong.

Friends will be received at the Boal Memorial Chapel, Barton on Monday, December 26th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The George’s Creek Valley Lodge will hold a memorial service at 6:15 p.m.

A memorial service will follow the Mason service at 6:30 p.m. with Pastor Russell Blubaugh officiating.
