Shirley Ann Llewellyn, 83, of Rawlings, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland.
Born June 26, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Cecil R. Bucklew and the late Teresa A. (Trost) Bucklew. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, John W. Bucklew of Goose Greek, SC and Robert “Butch” Bucklew of Cobbs Creek, VA.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother as she leaves behind her husband, John W. Llewellyn, a son, Herbert P. Llewellyn and wife Angie of McCoole, three daughters, Judith A. (Llewellyn) Wray and husband Thomas of Newberg, MD, Linda D. Llewellyn of Fairhope, PA, and Brenda S. Llewellyn and husband Mike of Stephen City, VA. She is also survived by her grandsons, Travis Wray, Austin Wray, Alex Llewellyn and Tom Llewellyn and a granddaughter, Taylor N. Llewellyn, one sister, Teresa B. (Bucklew) Powell of Summerville, SC. Shirley was loved by all and will be sadly missed.
As per her wishes her body was cremated. There will be no services. A family gathering will held at a later date and inurnment at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Rocky Gap.
