Sandra "Sandy" Wilt

Keyser, WV

Sandra Wilt, 68 of Keyser passed away on August 20, 2022.

Born February 18, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Ivan and Edna (Murphy) Wilt. She is also preceded in death by her brother, James Wilt; sister, Carol Metz; nephew, Dallas Ray Bittinger; and sister-in-law Brenda Wilt.

Sandy never met a stranger, she had such a fun personality and was always smiling. She loved all kinds of animals. Sandy attended Living Faith Ministries, Keyser. Sandy was a 1972 graduate of Bruce High School. She once worked at SAID, Inc., Masteller Coal Company and in most recent years, Mineral Fabrication.

Sandy is survived by her siblings, Joyce Bittinger and husband Dallas of Savage River, Linda Stevens and husband Charlie of Keyser, William “Bill” Wilt of New Creek, and Ronald “Ron” Wilt of Savage River. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Sharon Whetzel-Paige, Carol Baker, Jason Wilt, and William Wilt II; brother-in-law, Gene Metz; and several great nieces and nephews and cousins.

Friends will be received at Boal Funeral Home, Westernport on Thursday, August 25th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Gordon Brubaker officiating.

Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park, Cumberland.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Boal Funeral Home, Westernport in order to defray funeral expenses.
