Ruth Hott

Ruth Arlene (Virts) Hott, 83, of Keyser passed away on October 17, 2021 at Moran Manor Nursing Center.

Born, April 5, 1938, she was the daughter of the late James and Pansy (Maynard) Virts. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Katherine Nutter, Alice Hopkins, Tucker Virts, Vernon Virts, Pete Virts, Liege Virts, Ronnie Virts and John Virts.

Mrs. Hott was a good-hearted and kind woman. She loved her family, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and baking.

Mrs. Hott is survived by her husband of 64 years, Robert Hott, Sr.; her sons, Robert Hott, Jr. and wife, Sharon, and Patrick Hott and wife, Greta. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Allen Hott, Heather Adamzseski, Tyler Hott, Natalie Hott; great grandchildren, Madison, David, Christian, Nadia, Zayle, Logan; sisters, Doris Davis, Anne Staggs, Mary Engle; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will take place at Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser on Thursday, October 21st at 12:30 p.m.

Boal Funeral Home, Westernport assisted the family with arrangements.
