Russell Lewis “Rusty” Hershman, 59 of Wood St, Westernport, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at his residence.
Born February 15, 1958 in Selma, AL, he was the son of the late Lewis and Madeline “Bobbi” (Lewis) Hershman. Rusty was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Russell “Buck” Paugh and Evelyn (Davis) Paugh Ford.
Rusty was a 1976 graduate of Bruce High School and the Career Center. He formerly worked with the Laborers Union 616. He was a member of the Improved Order of Redman 131, Westernport, and Kelly Mansfield #52 American Legion, Piedmont, WV.
He leaves behind his wife, Gail (Muir) Hershman, his cousins, Marlene Feaster and husband James of Laureldale, WV, Pamela Feaster Dulyea of Strasburg, VA, Garlene Feaster Bosley of Raleigh, NC, and Jimmy Feaster of Burlington, WV.
Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Saturday, from 4 to 7 PM. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation on Saturday at 7:00 PM, with Deacon Harold Bradley officiating.
Interment will be at a later date at Nethkin Hill Cemetery, Elk Garden, WV.
