Ronald Lee Foutz, 61, of Main St, Westernport, died Monday, January 27, 2014 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland.

Born July 15, 1952 in Mineral County, WV, he was the son of the late Ronald and Lorraine (Bradley) Foutz.

He was retired from United Insurance Company.

He leaves behind his wife of 10 years, JoAnne “Elaine” Foutz, his children, Heidi Austin and husband Kenneth of Plano, TX, Brandon Foutz and wife Marion of Martinsburg, WV, Justin Foutz and wife Dawn of Antioch, WV, his step children, Monica Green and husband Eric of Westernport, Christopher Laffey and Dawn Fishel of Capon Bridge, WV, his siblings, Richard Foutz of Westernport, and Rhonda Mou and husband Rev. James of Romney, WV.  He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, Myrissa Green of Westernport, Logan Laffey, Colt Laffey, Carder Laffey, all of Capon Bridge, WV, Morgan Foutz, Paige Foutz, Shea Foutz, Leah Foutz, all of Antioch, WV, November Malloy, Joseph Malloy, David Malloy, Ian Austin, Samantha Austin, all of Plano, TX, and Gage Laffey of Cumberland.

His body was cremated.

A memorial service will be conducted at the Westernport Church of the Brethren on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 7:00 PM.  A gathering for friends and family will be held one hour prior to service from 6 to 7 PM.

Memorial contributions may be directed to a memorial fund established at M and T Bank, Westernport, MD.
