Ronald Nathan Basye, 86 of Rawlings passed away on June 20, 2020 at UPMC Western Maryland.
Born April 30, 1934 in Piedmont, WV, he was the son of the late Nathan and Elizabeth (Evans) Basye. He is also preceded in death by two sisters, Bernice Lam and Ruth Powers.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Shirley (Matthews) Basye; a brother, David Basye and wife, Wanda; a son, Randy Matthews and wife, Shirley and four grandchildren.
A visitation will take place on Thursday, June 25 at Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, from 11 AM to 1 PM. A funeral service will follow after starting at 1 PM with Pastor Glen Johnson Jr officiating.
Interment will be at Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser, WV.
