Robert Randolph “Randy” Cooper, 51 of Keyser, passed away on November 2, 2021 at UPMC Western Maryland.

Born October 3, 1970, he was the son of the late Robert Cooper, Sr. and Karen (Chidester) Cooper.

Randy was a member of the Westernport First Baptist Church. He loved the church and was very active within the church. Randy enjoyed researching genealogy as well as carpentry work. He was a journeyman electrician with the Local 26 IBEW. Randy was involved with the Boy Scout Potomac District of the Laurel Highlands Council. He was the committee chairman of Troop 69 of Fort Ashby. Randy adored his family, he was a great husband, son and dad.

Randy is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca “Becky” (Rowe) Cooper; and his children, Jeremiah and Jordan Cooper. Randy is also survived by his mother-in-law, Sandie Rowe; sister-in-law, Stephanie Keller and husband, Matt; nephew, Zane; niece, Anna; bonus children, Alexis and Dawson Franklin; and special cousin, Carla Braithwaite. He is also survived by his mentor and special “brother”, Earl Williams; friends that were like his brothers, Bob Clark, Donnie Parsons, Andy Mackert and Bob Lavindar; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and many friends and his scout family.

A celebration of life service will take place at the Westernport First Baptist Church on Friday, November 12th at 11:00 a.m to honor Randy and his late mother, Karen.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Westernport Frist Baptist Church social hall fund.

Randy was in the care of Boal Funeral Home, Westernport.
