Robert "Bo" Duckworth

Robert Joseph “Bo” Duckworth, 48, of Stoney Run Road, Westernport, passed away Friday, November 20, 2015 at his residence after a courageous battle with Muscular Dystrophy since the age of 7.

Born May 4, 1967, he was the son of the late Robert Thomas and Evelyn Marie (Guinn) Duckworth.

Robert was a 1985 graduate of Bruce High School.  He also attended Allegany College.  His interests were in cars, especially Mustangs, he enjoyed spending time with his family, and was a supporter of local bands of the area.

He leaves behind a daughter, the light of his life, Cheyenne Duckworth of Keyser, WV, a brother, Thomas Duckworth and wife Tracey of Westernport, two sisters, Carolyn Ridenour and husband Irvin of McCoole, and Donna McMillan, who was also a caregiver, and husband John of Westernport.  He is also survived by a close cousin, Glenn Clark, and two of his caregivers, Patty Morgan and Nancy Broadwater, and he was a special uncle to Dustin Ridenour, Heather Ridenour, Tommy Duckworth, John McMillan, Skylynn McMillan, and Zach Duckworth.  “Bo” was an important part of his family’s lives and he was an inspiration to them all.

Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Tuesday from 5 PM to 9 PM.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Samuel Biser officiating.

Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow Mills.
