Robert Wildman

Robert Kemp Wildman, 75, of Maryland Highway, Swanton, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland.

Born October 9, 1939 in Beryl, WV, he was the son of the late Kermit and Bernice (Bean) Wildman.  He was also preceded in death by his son, Bobby Wildman.

Bob was a 1958 graduate of Bruce High School.  He was retired from Westvaco Corp., having been a Supervisor in the wood yard.  Bob was a member of Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church, a former member of Folly Run Sportsman Club, and he was well known for his woodworking ability.

He leaves behind his wife, Sandy (Mills) Wildman, two daughters, Pamela S. Dawson of Westernport, Robin L. Doolan and husband Chris of Keyser, WV, two brothers, Wayne Wildman and Kenneth Wildman and wife Cathy, both of Swanton.  He is also survived by five grandchildren, Jeremiah Dawson and wife Brittany, Josiah Dawson, Annie Dawson and Dustin Durst, Emily Doolan and Tyler Mazer, and Adam Doolan and Stephanie, and two great grandsons, Colten Scott Dawson and Jase Eugene Dawson.

Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Saturday from 6 to 8 PM and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.  A funeral service will be conducted at Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church, Swanton, on Monday at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Gary Rankin officiating.

Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Swanton.
