Robert Scott Buckholtz, Sr.

Robert Scott Buckholtz, Sr, 63 of Westernport passed away on October 4, 2025.

Born August 9, 1962, he was the son of Norma (Zais) Buckholtz and the late Robert “Buck” Buckholtz. Along with his father, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Keely DeSantis; a brother-in-law, Tom Moore; and both sets of his grandparents.

Scott is survived by his mom, Norma (Zais) Buckholtz; his children, Paige Buckholtz and significant other, Justin Johnson, and Robbie Buckholtz and significant other, Jessica Brandlen; his sister, Debbie Moore; and his granddaughters, Nataleigh and Haleigh Johnson. Scott is also survived by his niece Carrie Willison and husband, Matt; great nieces, Olivia and Lucy Willison; step daughter, Dawn Lestaevel and husband, Pierre; step grandchildren, Christian and Zaniya Lestaevel and Derek Newton, Jr.; and his good friends, Danny and Daniel Kyle.

Scott graduated from Bruce High School with the class of 1980. He was a member of the Upper Potomac Rod and Gun Club, the Sons of the American Legion, and he was active with the Tri-Towns Jaycees.

Scott enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed playing soccer and was involved with a local adult soccer league.

Friends will be received at the Boal Memorial Chapel, Barton on Friday, October 17th from 2 to 4 p.m. A memorial service will take place at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Mike Goldizen officiating.
