Robert Steven Brandlen, 59, of Bloomington passed away on May 28, 2023.
Born September 29, 1963, he was the son of the late Robert and Mary (Jack) Brandlen. He was also preceded in death by a brother, David “Mudball” Brandlen.
Steve was a devoted Maryland Terps fan. He enjoyed watching movies, checking the stock market, listening to music and cooking. Steve liked to go hunting and watching the wildlife that would visit his yard. He always attended get-togethers with family, if there was family and food, he was there. It was very important to Steve that handicap accessibility was available in all places, he was an advocate for those that were in need.
He is survived by his brother Jack Brandlen and wife Tonia; a nephew and several nieces; and several great nieces and great nephews. Steve is survived by a special niece, Kristina; special friends “Uncle” Randy Fazenbaker, and Shane Bosley; his caregivers and friends, Melanie Mayne, Katie Enos, Jess Kitzmiller; and his special little buddies, Karter, Karson, Weston, Kolson and Ethan, and special princess Karlee.
Family and friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport on Friday, June 2nd from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:00 p.m.
Interment will be at Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser, WV.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Bloomington Volunteer Fire Company.
