Robert Delton Baker, 58, of 51 Jones St., Piedmont, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at his residence.
Born July 22, 1954 in Keyser, he was the son of the late Mildred Louise Baker.
Robert was a United States Army Veteran. He was previously employed by S.E. Clark Trucking. He was a member of Kelly Mansfield Post #52 American Legion, Piedmont.
He leaves behind a daughter, Candida Baker of Hagerstown, MD, two brothers, Richard Wilt of Fort Ashby, Arthur Wilt of Mill Run, MD, and a sister, Debbie Braithwaite of Elk Garden. He is also survived by a special companion and caregiver, Linda Alexander of Piedmont.
Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, MD, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 1:00 PM, with Vernon Campbell and Paul Baker officiating.
Interment will be in Sinclair Memorial Park, Cross, with full military honors accorded at graveside.
