Rita Mccrobie

Rita Gene McCrobie, 73, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2020 at her son’s home surrounded by those who loved her dearly.

Born on September 19, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Elizabeth (Biddle) Amann.

Before retirement, she worked for NewPage for 44 years in the accounting department. She enjoyed family and spending time with her grandchildren, who affectionately called her “Mawky”.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Charles McCrobie. One son, Jeff Bowers, whom she referred to as “the Love of her life”, and his wife, Kimberly. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kayla Bowers and fiancé, Brandon Gardner, Shaylene Bowers and fiancé, William Burgess and Madison Bowers. Rita was also expecting her first great grandchild, Waylon, in September. Rita is survived by her three siblings, Elizabeth and Robert Kertesz, Faye Warnick and Paul and Debbie Amann; along with several nieces, nephews and her husband’s three children.

Family and friends will be received at Boal Funeral Home, Westernport for a visitation on Thursday, July 9th from 6 to 8 p.m.
