Perry Lawson Miller, 92, of Westernport, passed away Friday, March 27, 2015 at Moran Manor Nursing Center, Westernport.
Born November 18, 1922 in Westernport, he was the son of the late Lonison Carl and Clara Victoria (Ross) Miller. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.
Mr. Miller was a United States Army Veteran, having served during World War II. He retired from Westvaco Corp., having been a trimmer operator. Mr. Miller was a faithful member of Stoney Run Baptist Church, Westernport.
He leaves behind his wife Phyllis (Ravenscroft) Miller, five children, Eileen Fischer and husband William of WV, Judith Reynolds and husband Dallas of DE, Carl Miller and wife Martha of VA, Kenneth Miller of VT, and Karen Perkins and husband William of WV. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at the Stoney Run Baptist Church, Westernport, on Saturday, April 4th at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Gary Morris officiating.
