Paul Gift

Paul Russell Gift, 80 of Westernport passed away on December 28, 2020.

Born on March 24, 1940, he was the son of the late Elwood and Gladys (Iliff) Gift. He was also preceded in death by his brother, James D. Gift.

Paul was a faithful member of the Westernport Church of the Brethren. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and brother; he will be missed by many.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Betty Lou (Fike) Gift. Paul is survived by his brother, Elwood Gift, Jr and wife Roslyn of Oak Ridge, TN. He is also survived by his children, Tim Gift and wife, Kathy of Oakland, MD, Dana Gift and wife, Laurie of Fulton, MD, and Jennifer Gift of Oakland, MD; his grandchildren, Russell Gift of Cumberland, Daniel Metcalfe of St. Petersburg, FL, Emily Gift and husband, Jason Zavis of Arlington, VA, Sarah Kirkley and husband Doug of Fulton, Samuel Gift of Fulton; and a great grandson, Caiden.

Family and friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport on Saturday, January 2, 2021 from 12 to 1 p.m. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:00 p.m. Details regarding the virtual Zoom service will be at the end of Paul’s obituary at www.boalfh.com

Interment will be at Philos Cemetery, Westernport.
