Patricia Smith

Patricia Lea Smith, 63, of Owens Ave, Bloomington, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Oakland.

Born June 28, 1950 in Franklin, MD, she was the daughter of the late Don and Margie (Mayhew) Wilt.

Patty was a 1968 graduate of Bruce High School.  She formerly worked at Jakes Convenience Store, Save-a-Lot Grocery Store, and Walmart, having been a cashier.  She was protestant by faith.

She leaves behind her husband, Bob Smith, a son, Bobby Smith and wife Krista of Westernport, a sister, Shirley Maynard and husband Kenny and family of Swanton, and a brother, Glenn Shingler and wife Bonnie and family of Westernport.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Becca Smith and Harley Smith, both of Westernport.

At her request, her body was cremated.

A visitation for friends and family will be held at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 PM.  A memorial service will follow at 4:00 PM at the funeral home, with Pastor Diane May officiating.

Inurnment will be at Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser,

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to WEPCO Credit Union, Bloomington, MD, C/O Robert Smith, to help defray funeral expenses.
