Patricia Blackburn

Patricia Ann Blackburn, 84, passed away on August 13, 2018 at Piney Valley, Keyser.

Born April 30, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Garlene (Moyer) Blackburn.

Patricia is survived by her two aunts, Ginny Moyer and Jeanette Moyer, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and a special cousin, guardian and confidant, Becky Viers and her family. She is also survived by her special friend and sister of the heart, Jean Shafer of Keyser, a special friend and devoted visitor, MiMi Obenshain, a longtime family friend, Marti Schmeller and her husband of Winchester, and a wonderful and kind hearted volunteer, who would always send Patricia balloons for her birthday, Sheila Golden.

The staff and employees at Patricia’s “home”, Piney Valley and previously Heartland of Keyser, were very important to her and likewise, Patricia was so special to them.  Thank you Piney Valley for almost 40 years of love and dedication to Patricia.

A memorial service will be held at Piney Valley, Keyser, on Thursday, August 30th at 2:00 pm.

Patricia will be at rest along with her mother, brother, sister-in-law and step father at Shenandoah Memorial Park, Winchester, VA.
