Norma Carpenter

Norma Lee Carpenter, 85 of Westernport passed away on September 21, 2019.

Born November 21, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Jefferson and Mary Ellen (Crawford) Clark. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Carpenter; her siblings, Calvin, Kenny, Junior, Paul and Mary Ethel Clark; and her infant son, Billy Carpenter.

Norma was a member of the Stoney Run Baptist Church, Westernport. She was a country girl through and through, she was a farm girl and loved living in the country. She was a strong woman, loved her family and was a friend to all. She was a wonderful Mom and Grandma that was always there for her loved ones.

Norma is survived by her children, Dennis Carpenter and wife, Barbara of Westernport, Mary Ann Symons of Frostburg, Jeff Carpenter and wife, Melodie of Westernport, Donna Farris and husband, Andy of Westernport and Julie Liller and husband, Mike of Westernport. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport on Tuesday, September 24th from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the Stoney Run Baptist Church, Westernport on Wednesday, September 25th at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will be at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap, Flintstone.
