Nicola Fracasso

Nicola Fracasso, 89, of Piedmont passed away on September 8, 2023 at UPMC Western Maryland. 

Born at Luke, MD on August 9, 1934, he was the son of the late Pasquale and Giovannina (Pacillo) Fracasso. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Josephine Fracasso; and a grandson, Jarrod Fracasso. 

Nicola is survived by his wife, Rosalie (Serpone) Fracasso; son, Christopher Fracasso and wife Beth; grandsons, Eli Fracasso and Joseph Fracasso; granddaughters, Krisandra Fracasso, Jordyn Hanlin and Michaela Fracasso; and niece, Donna Fracasso. 

Nicola proudly severed his country in the United States Navy. He loved watching football on Sundays, especially his team, the Washington Commanders. Nicola loved his family and absolutely adored his grandchildren. 

Nicola’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at UPMC Western Maryland for their compassion and the excellent care given to Nicola during his stay. 

Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport on Wednesday, September 13th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Bruce McBride officiating. 

Interment will be at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap, Flintstone, MD with military honors accorded by the Post 13 Combined Honor Guard.
