Mildred Lovina Fazenbaker, 93, formerly of Westernport, passed away October 9, 2014 at Heartland of Keyser.
Born in Westernport on August 13, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Gertrude (Fleming) Grove. She is also preceded in death by her husband Roger W. Fazenbaker, a daughter Susan Nelson, an infant son, Donald Alvin Fazenbaker, a grandson, Tucker Carskadon, a great grandson, Jake Gibbs and a late son-in-law Bill Kelly.
Mrs. Fazenbaker was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Piedmont, WV. She was also a past secretary of the Tri-State Lost Chord Club. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She and her husband were avid bowlers and they also enjoyed vacationing in Myrtle Beach in the fall time.
She is survived by her children; Roger N. Fazenbaker and wife Fran of Westernport, R. David Fazenbaker and wife Kathy of Keyser,WV, Rebecca Kelly of Calhoun, GA and Norma Dunwody and husband David of Culpepper, VA. She is also survived by a sister, Rachel Kitzmiller of Vero Beach, FL; cousins, Audrey and Margaret Grimm of Hagerstown; a son-in-law, Jim Nelson of South Fulton, TN; 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Fazenbaker is also survived by a special angel, Ruth Stakem of Frostburg Village.
Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport on Sunday, October 12th from 1 to 4 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, October 13th at 11:00 am with Pastor Steve Grimes officiating. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in Bloomington Cemetery.
