Michael Serpone

Michael Angelo Serpone, 65 of Cumberland and formerly of Piedmont, WV passed away on March 10, 2023.

Born July 16, 1957, he was the son of the late Francis “Squirrel” and Mary “Daisy” (Sudine) Serpone. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Tony Serpone.

In 1975 Mike earned his PhD (Piedmont High Diploma). He was humorous and always goofing around. Mike was kind, generous and welcoming to everyone. “Big Mike” was a father figure to many. Mike was a loving Dad and Pappy, he will be greatly missed.

Mike is survived by his three children, Michael Serpone II and wife Paige of Waldorf, Autumn Walker and Gil of Cumberland, and Patrick Serpone of Cumberland. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Keylyn Walker and Ariaya Walker; and his grand dogs, The Chuck and Suge.

Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport to gather and share memories of Mike on Saturday, March 25th from 1 to 3 p.m.
