Michael Gary MacDonald, 65, of Spruce St, Westernport, passed away Monday, February 26, 2018.

Born September 22, 1952 in Keyser, WV, he was the son of Ramsay MacDonald and the late Lois (Kyle) MacDonald.

Mike was a 1970 graduate of Bruce High School.  He retired from the Town of Westernport Street Department with 38 years of service.  He was a member of Victory Post #155 and Kelly Mansfield Post #52 American Legions.

In addition to his father, Ramsay, he leaves behind his wife, Janie (Michaels) MacDonald, a son, Michael MacDonald Jr., daughters, Kristy MacDonald, Misty Thomas (Scott), a step son, Mic Michaels (Heather), a brother, Scott MacDonald (Sandel), his grandchildren, Mychaela MacDonald, Ashtin Thomas, Ricky and Mickaylee, beloved pet, Trixie, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Wednesday from 5 to 8 PM.  A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Dave Cowan officiating.

Interment will be in Philos Cemetery, Westernport.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, to help defray funeral expenses.
