Michael Charles Bush, 40, of Crestwood Lane, Swanton, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.
Born June 21, 1972 in Cumberland, he was the son of Charles R. and Jean E. (Pritts) Bush of Bloomington.
Mike was employed with New Page Paper Mill, Luke, having been a Journeyman Lubricator. He was a member of Bloomington United Methodist Church. An avid hunter and fisherman, he was also a member of the Folly Run Sportsman Club, Swanton. He enjoyed taking his daughter on hunts and hunting with his dad and friends. He especially enjoyed going to his daughter’s volleyball games.
In addition to his parents, Charles and Jean, he leaves behind his wife, Jody (Shingler) Bush, his daughter, Michaela Bush at home, a sister, Lori Warnick and husband Mike of Bloomington, two nieces, Skylar Warnick and Addison Shingler and a nephew, Colton Shingler. He is also survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Glenn and Bonnie Shingler of Westernport, a brother-in-law, Eric Shingler and wife Jenny of Westernport, a grandmother-in-law, Helen Meyers of Cumberland, many good friends and his faithful companion, Missy.
As per Mike’s wishes he was cremated.
The family will receive friends at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Friday, November 30th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A memorial service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday, December 1st at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Gary Rankin officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions for Mike's daughter's future education may be directed to M & T Bank, Main St, Westernport, C/O Trust Fund for Michaela Bush.
