Melvin Pritts

Melvin Lewis “Buddy” Pritts, Jr., 62 of Westernport passed away on February 17, 2020 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.

Born March 24, 1957, he was the son of Melvin Lewis Pritts, Sr. and the late Dorothy Lee (Davis) Pritts.

Buddy was a 1975 graduate of Bruce High School. He was a United States Army Veteran. He took care of his father and their home. Buddy was a hard worker and was always there to help anyone that was in need.

Along with his father, Melvin Pritts, Sr. of Westernport, he is also survived by his sisters, Jacqueline Amtower, Keyser, WV and Patricia Fitzgerald and husband, Barry of Westernport. Buddy is survived by his niece, Emily Fitzgerald; nephew, Christopher Amtower; special cousin Jody Davisson and Aunt Nee; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no services.

Boal Funeral Home, Westernport assisted the family with arrangements.
