Maxine Teresa Rae, 60, of Poplar St, Westernport, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland.
Born October 21, 1956 in Keyser, WV, she was the daughter of the late Owen and Ruth (Winters) Lancaster.
Maxine retired from Moran Manor Nursing Center with 24 years of service. She was a member of Bruce Outreach Center, Westernport.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother as she leaves behind her husband, Robert “B.J.” Rae, a daughter, Sarah Riggleman and husband Jason of Bedford, PA, a grandson, Bradley Riggleman, a brother, Owen Lancaster Jr. and wife Jerry of Mt. Savage, two sisters, Ruth Pattison of Cumberland and Stephanie Lancaster of Westernport.
Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Friday, November 25th from 5 to 8 PM.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home chapel on Saturday, November 26th at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Steffan Carr officiating.
