Mary Snowdeer Ross, 91, of Oakland Nursing and Rehab, formerly Ross Savage Road, Swanton, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the nursing center.
Born on December 31, 1925 in Mineral County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Ocie and Jessie (Aronholt) Thompson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alva V. Ross.
Mrs. Ross was a homemaker and Methodist by faith.
She leaves behind two daughters, Susan Wilt and husband Jeff of King George, VA, Cheryl Baker and husband Chris of Oakland, three grandchildren, Sara Campos and husband Martin of California, Julie Wilt of King George, VA, and Morgan Browning and husband Kane of Oakland. She is also survived by one great grandchild.
There will be no visitation. A graveside prayer service will be conducted at Philos Cemetery, Westernport, on Monday, December 18th at 10:00 AM, with Rev. Steve Grimes officiating.
Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, is entrusted with the arrangements.
