Mary Langham

Mary S. Langham, 92, of Barton passed away on July 13, 2018 at her residence with her family by her side.

Born April 24, 1926, she was the daughter of the late James and Jean (Mitchell) Moffatt. She is also preceded in death by her husband, George Langham, her daughter, Carol Langham Kyle, her siblings, Gladys Kirk, Wilma Symons and Gilbert “Gibby” Moffatt, and her son-in-law, Tom Henson.

Above all else, Mary loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and her family. She dedicated her life to being a wife and mother. Mary was a member of Bethel Holiness Church, she loved the church and her church family. She was a faithful member until she was physically unable to attend. Mary loved spending time with her grandchildren and watching them grow. Heaven gained another angel, fly high Mom!

She is survived by her daughters, Georgiann Shuhart and husband, John, Norma Henson and Kathy Peterson and husband, Ed; and her son, Joe Langham and wife, Barbara. Mary is survived by her son-in-law, Jim Kyle; her 13 grandchildren, Joey, Stacey, Steve, Jeff, Tom, Rod, Rus, Melissa, Dwayne, Brian, Nikki, Tonya and Jim. She is also survived by her 21 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and many special friends.

Friends and family will be received at the Boal Memorial Chapel, Barton, on Tuesday, July 17th from 4 to 8 pm.  A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, July 18th at the Bethel Holiness Church, Lonaconing at 11:00 am with Rev. George Loar and Pastor David Schoch officiating. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 am.

Interment will be in Mt. View Cemetery, Moscow Mills.

Pallbearers will be Mary’s grandsons.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Bethel Holiness Church.
