Mary Broadwater

Cross, WV

Mary Louise Broadwater, 68, of Moran Manor Nursing and Rehab Center, formerly of Cross and Piedmont, WV, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at the nursing center.

Born July 1, 1948 in Beryl, WV, she was the daughter of the late James and Bessie Mae (Watson) Braithwaite.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dwain Harrison Broadwater, and a brother, Charles Edward Braithwaite.

Mrs. Broadwater was a homemaker.  She formerly worked at Montgomery Wards.  She attended when she was able Calvary Pentecostal Church, Cross, WV.

She leaves behind her children, Wayne Broadwater and wife, Wanda of Waynesboro, PA, Crystal Carr and husband Ronald of New Creek, Kevin Broadwater and wife Robin of Elk Garden, WV, and Brandon Broadwater and wife Valarie of Keyser, WV.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Christian and Albert Broadwater, Aaron and Alexis Carr, Ethan and Chasity Broadwater, Morgan, Reese and Reagan Broadwater, two step grandsons, Scott and Brian Lampka, and her siblings, James R. Braithwaite of Keyser, WV, William Lee Braithwaite and wife Debbie of Keyser, WV, Shirley Mae Clark of Keyser, WV, Margaret Ann Smith of Keyser, WV, Janet Tichnell and husband Jerry of Swanton, MD, Lois Clay and husband Rusty of Piedmont, WV, and a sister-in-law, Nancy Braithwaite.

Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, MD, on Sunday, October 16th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home chapel on Monday, October 17th at 11:00 AM.

Interment will be in Sinclair Memorial Park, Cross, WV.
