Mary Lois Biddle, 99, of Westernport, passed away July 27, 2015 at Moran Manor Nursing Home.
Born June 10, 1916, she was the daughter of the late William and Lottie (Beeman) Morton. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Biddle; brothers, William Morton, John Morton, Norman Smiley; sisters, Gladys Gift, Edna Smith, Jean Miller, Margaret Baher; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary worked at Westvaco as a paper sorter. She taught herself to quilt and how to crochet. She enjoyed taking fishing trips with her husband. Mary liked to volunteer her time at a couple of local churches. She was a loving, caring person that will be missed.
She is survived by a brother, Robert Morton of Grand Rapids, MI, a brother Jim Morton of New Creek, WV and a sister Mrs. Jack Combs of Rawlings. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a special nephew, Dennis Morton of Swanton and a special niece, Lois Miller of Keyser, WV.
Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Wednesday, July 29th from 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, July 30th at 11:00 am with Pastor Sandy Cowan officiating.
Interment will be in Philos Cemetery, Westernport.
