Marsha Elaine Broadwater Mullan, 46, of High St, Barton, passed away Sunday November 12, 2017 at her residence.

Born July 29, 1971 in Cumberland, she was the daughter of Stanley and Margie (Schramm) Broadwater of Barton.  She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Marvin Broadwater, her maternal grandfather, Harold “Dimps” Schramm, and her good friends, Misty Stullenberger and Tonya Fazenbaker.

Marsha was a 1989 graduate of Valley High School.  She was a long time employee of the Schwab Company before going back to college.  She graduated from Allegany College with a degree in Radiology.  Marsha was presently employed as an X-Ray Technician, working at Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser, WV, and Hampshire Memorial Hospital, Romney, WV.  Marsha was Presbyterian by faith.  She enjoyed writing poetry and was often asked to share her writings. Marsha was a hard worker who loved her job and the people she worked with.

In addition to her parents, Stanley and Margie, she leaves behind a brother, Brian Broadwater of Frostburg, her maternal grandmother, Alice Delberta Schramm of Barton and her paternal grandmother, Thelma June Broadwater of Bowling Green.  She is also survived by her godson, Cameron Dixon, her significant other, George Stewart and a good friend, Victor “Tiny” Clise and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and Rocco, her four legged buddy, and many good friends.

Friends and family will be received at the Boal Memorial Chapel, Barton, on Thursday, November 16th from 4 to 8 PM.  A funeral service will be conducted at the Barton Presbyterian Church on Friday, November 17th at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Thomas Morgan officiating.

Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow Mills.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Barton Presbyterian Church or the Barton Hose Company.
